Not everything makes it into production. Time constraints, contractual obligations, legal limitations, and sometimes just a little too much dreaming. I tend to aim high and then scale back when needed. They call it blue sky for a reason, and I like to keep my head pointed to the clouds whenever possible.
ESPN + Nike
Cross promotion with Nike. We get rights to their photography to use with our player pages which enhances our product and becomes more engaging while advancing Nike’s presence in and around sports. In return, we showcase the latest kicks released by sponsored athletes. Sneakerheads get the best of both worlds. Win-win.

A war treatment is a term applied to major events that take over the front page of a newspaper. For this exercise, I wanted to engage the fan with everything ESPN could offer around a major event.
