This exploration of the Store covered several aspects that are slowly being phased into production. The impact made from these north star comps can be seen across cards, banners, spotlight features, product pages and overall design details.

A New Vision
I redesigned the Microsoft Store with a focus on editorial appeal where users could discover new content based on their interests, friends and recent activity. To promote exploration, I enticed the user to keep swiping by introducing large banners to grab their attention and rewarded their curiosity with quality imagery for maximum impact.

Apps
Apps are typically represented by an icon and a general category. This updated version shows apps in action along with screenshots and tags to provide clarity and much needed context.

Gaming
For gaming, I focused on community and personalization. User activity, purchases, achievements and friend status help drive the experience for recommendations and live events.

Entertainment
I pushed the boundries of what was possible with Entertainment. I leaned into top ten lists, recommendations, continue watching features, wishlists, and collections.
